A burst supply line flooded the ground-floor office suite at Watford Business Park overnight. Carpets, raised-access flooring, partitions, and M&E were compromised across open-plan workstations, meeting rooms, and the reception zone.
The facilities manager needed staff back as quickly as possible, the insurer needed a clear scope, and downtime had to be managed with a phased reopen rather than a single end-of-project handback.
We made the floor safe, salvaged recoverable assets, and strip-out began within days. Industrial drying and M&E remediation ran to a programme that released zones for fit-out as soon as moisture and electrical clearances allowed.
Our project lead coordinated eleven trades across a seven-week claim. Reception and one wing reopened mid-programme; the remaining suites followed in sequence so the business never faced a full shutdown.
